Disable Wireless Adapter - Windows 7

When troubleshooting a network issue, disabling a wired / wireless network card will be requested.

Step-by-step guide
 
  1. To disable your connection select the Start Menu > Control Panel.

 
  1. Select Network and Internet.

 
  1. Select Network and Sharing Center.

 
  1. Select Change Adapter Settings.

 
  1. Right-click on the wireless connection and select Disable.
